Phone Tapping.
On behalf of the government the Home Minister gave a statement in the parliament that no phone tapping was done at the instance of the govt. Then at whose behest it was so done remains a question. If it was done by a private agency why Parliamentary committee should not make an enquiry? If the news published in the English weekly magazine was false, the editor and owner concerned should be punished and the government should lodge complaint against the said magazine. The reality should be brought before the public. Was it that the said magazine published the news as sensational news to increase its circulation? If it is true the Press Council should take suo motu notice of it and should start enquiry. In any case enquiry should be ordered otherwise it should be deemed that
